Open to high-school seniors graduating in June from Bay Shore, Brentwood,

Central Islip, Hempstead, Uniondale or Wyandanch high schools.

Minimum cumulative GPA: 3.0. Each school may nominate qualified students who satisfy these requirements.

Application Materials

Essay (150 words, typed)

Outline your academic and personal goals as a college student and as a U.S citizen.

Explain how you will serve as a positive role model for younger students.

Attach a recent photo (published in our journal if you receive an award).

Two letters of recommendation

Sources: guidance counselors or teachers.

Award Details

Amount: $1,000 per scholarship

Disbursement

Funds are released directly to the college once proof of

acceptance is received.

Selected recipients are honored at PRCBC’s Annual Mother’s Day and

Scholarship Awards Dinner Dance Saturday the 9th of May.
